We have reached Jamaica Avenue.  This is a view of the Avenue looking west.  The elevated subway tracks rise above Jamaica Avenue.

I believe that the "Z" train runs along this route.



A very interesting configuration.  The Rockaway Beach Branch is elevated over Jamaica Avenue via a trestle, and the subway is elevated over the Rockaway Beach Branch via it's stanchions.

The gap in the middle of the subway line was supposed to be for an express subway track, but the tracks were never installed.
