This
is an area under the trestle leading to Ozone Park Station that has not
been walled-up for business purposes. In this case, a chain-link
fence divides the leased-business area from the public land.
A lone
signal tower, apparently in very good condition, helped to guide trains
out of Ozone Park Station.
This is the
103rd Avenue trestle. It is in fairly good condition, especially
when compared to the trestle at 101 Avenue.
A view
of the southbound Ozone Park Station, looking North. The station
reminds everyone of a bygone era, when the Rockaways were a tourist area
for the residents of the City of New York, and Ozone Park Station was the
gateway to paradise.
