Like
Woodhaven Station, Ozone Park Station has one platform light pole whose
light cap has stood the test of time. The light pole casts a shadow
on the platform below.

Ozone Park
Interlock signal tower. This tower controlled trains to and from
Ozone Park station. This tower was important for controlling access from
the Atlantic Branch via Woodhaven Junction to the Rockaway Beach Branch.
This
is one of the nicest businesses that currently resides under the Ozone
Park Station. The Olympic Fence and Supply company painted the station
cement white, and they took great care in painting the design facade yellow.
It actually brings to light the design work that was used in the cement
forms for the station overhang.
