Large apartment buildings line the western edge of the ROW.

The people sitting on the bench behind the chain-link fence were not to pleased that we were trespassing on their sanctuary.



Hard to tell what this is (was).  It looks like some sort of signal box, but it is too rusted-out to really make heads or tails of the thing.



A close-up picture of the third rail.  A Subtalk member said that this rail dates back to 1908 or earlier, which is the time that the line was built!
