Direction signs

Tunnel.
A view of the
Kosciosko Bridge, a bridge which carries the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway
(I-278) over Newtown Creek.
The Long Island
Railroad's Montauk Branch trickles down to one track at this section.
Several box cars are parked along the factory siding. This branch
is used predominantly for freight service, and it only has one or two passenger
trains that run from Jamaica Station to Long Island City.
Looking west
at the Montauk Branch as it passes under the Greenpoint Avenue Bridge.
The
area around the Montauk Branch has seen better days, as the area now looks
gritty and very uninviting.
A
bumper is shrouded by weeds.
