Looking at
the Brooklyn Bridge and the downtown Manhattan skyline in Empire-Fulton
Ferry State Park. New sidewalks and pathways are being installed
in the park, as the park is currently undergoing a major renovation project.
Some of the
old factories and warehouses in the DUMBO area scaled as high as eight
to ten stories. These are some of the larger buildings in the area.
This building
is a fine example of how some of these factories were built to be both
utilitarian in function and pleasing to the eye in appearance.
