Another factory
which the JSCRR had a connection to. Notice the red bricks of the
factory's facade. These types of buildings are very rare, and many
people are trying to preserve these buildings from the wrecking ball by
trying to get them placed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
This area is
now zoned for mix-use buildings, meaning that industry and residences can
coexist with each other.
A couple of
low-rise buildings are found along the streets of DUMBO.
