The trestle
at West 23rd Street. Surprisingly, another parking lot and a gas
station reside in the area of the ROW. :)
Along the ROW, in between West 22nd and West 23rd Street, was the former
Spear and Company building. The building had a platform that extended
out to the High Line ROW.
The
West 24th Street trestle.
CSX railroad wants to be certain that if it gives up the High Line property
to any group that it be free of future liability claims.
The
West 25th Street trestle doesn't look much different from any of the preceding
trestles. The building on the right is the former R.C. Williams and
Company building. The company had a private siding along the High
Line, and it is one of the few sidings that existed along this particular
stretch of ROW.
