A view
of the New York Connecting Railroad Queens Boulevard bridge. Since
Queens Boulevard is a fairly large road, the bridge is very large as well,
as several arches are employed to provide portals for the boulevard's eastbound
and westbound roadways.
An
easterly view of the bridge. Notice the three expansive arches.
Architectural
details are prevalent throughout the facade of the bridge.
A
view of the Long Island Railroad mainline, looking westbound, as the New
York Connecting railroad passes over the line via a trestle. One
can see the trestle in the background of this picture.
This view is from the Grand Avenue overpass. The New York Connecting Railroad continues to Fresh Pond Yard in Queens.
