The locomotive, of course, is the first train to enter the yard.
Here is the
newly refurbished NYA caboose making its way in to the yard.
Here
is the former LIRR passenger car traveling in to the yard. The NYA
will use this car as an inspection car post-tour.
And
last, but not least, is the other locomotive. This locomotive will
be the head engine to the Bay Ridge Yard. The locomotive that we
saw in the first picture on this page will be the head engine back to Fresh
Pond Yard.
